What We Do

Del Puerto Health Care District (DPHCD) was established in 1946. Its publicly elected Board of Directors ensures all aspects of the health continuum are addressed for the communities of west Stanislaus County. The District provides health care through Del Puerto Health Center and Patterson District Ambulance and forges partnerships to address high-quality, long-term solutions for community health needs. DPHCD completed a 2021 Community Health Assessment and Needs Survey to create a comprehensive Strategic Plan for 2022-2032.

What is a Special District?

Special districts are created and funded by a community’s residents to provide new or enhanced local services and infrastructure. Local residents own special districts and govern them through locally elected or appointed board members. California Special Districts are passionate about providing high-quality services and resources in the most efficient and effective manner.
